We Are Back to Business with Covid-19 Safety Measures in Place
The past few months have been a challenging time for all of us. Businesses both big and small have suffered hugely, and we have also been deprived of being able to see our loved ones. However, in the UK we are now starting to move into new phases in line with government rules and advice, and we are slowly beginning to open our country back up.
Here at Neil Hayes Painting & Decorating, we take this very seriously. Although we are now back up and running, we have full Covid-19 safety measures in place. It is extremely important to us that when we carry out any work, we are keeping ourselves as well as our customers safe and minimising any risks of the virus spreading.
We want our customers to feel reassured in that we are doing everything we can to ensure safety and adhere to government rules and guidelines. So, we wanted to tell you a little bit more about what we are doing to keep safe with our new security measures in place.
Social distancing
Our biggest change as we operate as a business and carry out all of our work on client property, is that we have strict social distancing measures in place. We are adhering to the two metre rule and ensuring that we follow this and stay apart on site. Furthermore, we ask anyone on the properties we work on to also stick to this rule so as to keep everybody as safe as possible and lower any risks.
Notices on site
Although our staff are fully aware of the social distancing measures and are adhering to them, we are also doing our best to ensure that all those on site are also following this. Therefore, on every job we will have notices stuck around the building both inside and upon entry so that if we are working on a public property where people may be around for example, they will be aware and be advised to stick to the two metre rule amongst all of our staff.
Furthermore, if we are providing our painting and decorating services in a house or private property we will put a notice on the door so that people are aware our staff are working inside and that the two metre rule must be followed.
Regular cleaning and hand sanitising
With getting our painting and decorating services back up and running, we have also made sure that all staff have access to cleaning and sanitising facilities and that we are regularly washing and sanitising our hands. As our job requires us to enter different properties, we are making sure that we are constantly cleaning our hands and following advice on how to stay safe. Therefore, before entering and as we leave the site, we will ensure that we wash or sanitise our hands.
Before starting up our services again we had to ensure that we were able to do this safely and with adhering to government guidelines. We want all of our clients to feel safe and secure and know that we are taking the extra measures to keep both you and our team safe.
